Through the years I have worked within the cheese industry in a number of different widely varying roles and eaten probably too much cheese. I became interested with Stockeld dreamery because of my past experiences with plant based cheese, I thought there was so much unexplored potential in the market and felt as though nobody was making the right product. 

I am interested in almost anything and always want to learn more, I grew up with a love of food, flavours and the culture that surround it. That is why I pursued a career as a food scientist as it balanced my curiosity of the world with my interest in food. The plant based industry is of particular interest to me not just for the environmental and ethical impact but because it is such an emerging unexplored space in the food industry. 

On the weekends I like going out for drinks, eat good food and have a laugh. I think life is to be enjoyed and don't take anything too seriously, that's why I am happiest cooking for friends or visiting a new restaurant or bar.
